Out of the darkness and into the light
We all come from somewhere, and we must agree that that somewhere has a tremendous influence into the expression of who we are in this moment. But what if we are not satisfied with whom we are in this moment? What if we know we are called to do more in this life than to be battered by the choices and life we live? What if we are in our own way? What if you never truly become who you are intended to be? What if you allow the darkness of self or others to consume you?
When the roads to today have been full of challenges beyond what most have lived, there is a place where you can be supported by one whom has stood in your shoes and looked out your eyes. There is a place to find light in the darkness.
Whether you are an individual working to support someone in this blackness or a person in such a valley or working to be the best you can be, this website is a place to connect and be rejuvenated and support our similar missions; overcoming and being the best we can be -ultimately giving back what was so freely given to us.
Messages by Michele offers a unique opportunity to become involved in a community committed to transforming the most challenging of experience to positively feed our life’s growth and work. This space is for both those in the midst of the lifelong process of healing, and health and for those who support such amazing work.
Messages by Michele is a result of the many “lives” that Michele has lived within her time here on earth. A survivor impacted by significant dysfunction in her family of origin, the death of her mother due to addiction and the life that led up to such sorrow, along with neglect, physical, emotional, verbal, and sexual abuse, to a youth and young adulthood only to repeat the patterns she fought daily to survive. She has survived abusive relationships, depression and anxiety so deep that suicide seemed to be the only option. Times when leaving her home and participating in life were so overwhelming that abuse, drugs and dysfunction were her only comfort. When truly there was no hope, no breath left in her-she believed that she was just broken seemingly beyond repair.
From the depths of hell on earth, Michele was able to make the difficult journey from victim to victor. Battered and beaten by the life she was living, Michele moved from a single mother in an abusive relationship on AFDC and homeless, to a successful leader supporting people with barriers to be successful.
This journey was not a simple one, nor without regret. But this journey has been on purpose-to give to those who to seek to be more than the sum of their experience. If you know deep within yourself that you have a higher calling but cannot move towards that place; or you are hitting your limits in helping those in these places, know that Messages by Michele is a resource for you.
Michele is committed to helping people like herself overcome the darkness in their life, to live the life of purpose and truth that gives life and light to their essence.
We are all here on purpose, and what we have been through is not for nothing, it is everything! Such battles strengthen us to prepare and do the true work at hand and live within the greatness of our own personal purpose. Working with Messages by Michele, whether it be inspirational and motivational speaking events, workshops, individual or small group sessions, or coaching, these interactions supports the most important work of your life, finding that your deepest wounds and the path it took to gain those, is your most precious asset- not your most evil enemy.
